I’m going to leave the Happily Ever Afters out of this ranking. Now that’s out of the way let’s get onto my ranking of the eight books. I would recommend reading that one after you finish Eloise’s story to avoid spoilers. Especially Colin’s 2nd Epilogue as it does give away some of what happens in Eloise’s as it’s set during that story. So if you don’t want to be spoiled then maybe skip them until you’ve read all the books. I know that the Kindle editions have the 2nd Epilogues included. Some do have spoilers for other books and who the Bridgerton’s end up with.

Now a quick word about the 2nd Epilogues, they are set (mostly) well after the original stories and epilogues. As they are all about one family it only makes sense that they would appear in each other’s stories. Each is an individual story that if you wanted you could probably read without reading the others, as each story is self-contained but does have characters and references from the other books.

These Jane Austen adaptions were good but they weren’t quite hitting the spot and because I didn’t want to re-watch the show so soon after finishing it so I decided to read the series. At first I watched some Pride & Prejudice and Emma adaptions. If you like Historical Romance stories I would definitely recommend that you read this series!Īfter watching the first season of Bridgerton on Netflix I was craving more Regency Romance stories.

I would also highly recommend reading this Romance series, each one follows a different Bridgerton sibling as the fall in love. There are eight books with a short story collection that are “2nd Epilogues” and a tale about Mrs Violet Bridgerton (the families matriarch). This show is based off of the Bridgerton book series by Julia Quinn. It’s a period drama set in Regency England that follows the Bridgerton family, specifically Daphne during her first season on the hunt for a suitable husband.

If you haven’t watched I would highly recommend it. You have most likely heard if not watched the new Netflix Original Bridgerton, which was released in late December.
