What stood out to me the most when reading this and I wasn’t surprised at all given the impact of the previous and first installment, Malificent, was how much love and heart that was embedded throughout this book! Between Aurora and Maleficent, and of course the to be wedded Aurora and Phillip.

There’s definitely troubles, though, as the Fae folk can’t help but notice some of their kind are going missing, not turning up without a trace or even a whisper of their whereabouts!Īs it happens, not all is exactly healthy with the human realm, with a traitor in their midst, plotting the downfall of not only all of the Fae but also some of their own! I absolutely devoured this book! It completely blew me away! Once I got into the story, set after the events of the first movie, of course – where Aurora is trying to maintain her Realm. You are never too old to read fairytales.Īnd oh, Maleficent indeed get a "Happily Ever After". The new characters were amazing too! Highly recommend this book! Maleficent and Aurora's bond made me love them more than ever. The evil in a person won't be stayed as a secret foreverĪ new story with new challenges, working through the uncertainty, finding out the true nature of people. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger So many lessons were taught throughout the book. The bond, love, loyalty between them was what made the story more beautiful. The story, the characters, the connections were all so beautiful. The best part of the book/movie was the part where Maleficent finds out there are more creatures like her out there. While on the other side Maleficent has become evil once more and Queen Ingrith is planning to take over the Moors. I enjoyed every second of it! Aurora finally says YES to Prince Philip and the both of them make plans for their future and wedding. With every word, every page, every line, were bursting with emotions.
